TODAY'S ARTICLE... > It Is Well

22 Jul 2017

How wonderful it is, there is peace and quietness in the ACW again. We will continue with the summers, mostly without internal-help, but with our community-projects and commitments. Although we still need our internal-help, we shall not plead or beg.

Our website is now fully operational again; our face book, though limited, will be ACW Anglican Church Worldwide.

We are pleased to announce that Sunday, July 30-2017,will be ACW-Sunday as we invite many from around-the-country and the NEAR-Caribbean to join us at Good-Shepherd AC for High Mass celebration.

On this Sunday we shall publicly present a check to St. Jude’s Children Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee for $19,800.00 on behalf of a benefactor in the name of the ACW.

On July 27, the PA Office (PAO) shall travel to Opa-Locka, Florida for a one day Bishop’s conference of merger with another Anglican Branch (negotiations completed).

On August 3, PAO travels to Albuquerque, New Mexico to meet with an independent Anglican-church seeking to join the ACW.  Their Rector is being considered to the Office-of-Bishop, to be mentored by the PAO.   He is 39 years old, (the future).

August 22, 2017, PAO will travel to Brooklyn, New-York to revive St. Christopher’s ACW with a new Rector. We welcome our new Caribbean-Anglicans that have already formed a choir and ready to spread the Gospel.

The PAO is pleased with the progress made in the past week but we must remind you that while we shall not take you off our list, you will not be considered an active member of the ACW unless obligations are met in assessments. There will be no further conversation on this.

We shall also (and have) activated our November 2, 2014 benevolence gift and have employed an outside accounting firm (ACW Member) to assist in its administration. Information will only be sent to active members of the ACW; thus, we invite you to be a part in thought, word, and deed.

We are excited and join in the words of Horatio-Gates-Spafford who suffered major traumas in his life.

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
